Perindopril arginine is a stable L-arginine salt of perindopril. Perindopril, a pro-drug, is hydrolyzed to perindoprilat, which inhibits ACE in humans and in animals. It is indicated for the treatment of hypertension, heart failure and coronary artery disease. Perindopril arginine may be used in monotherapy or in combination with other classes of antihypertensive therapy.
CRESTOR (rosuvastatin calcium) is an inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase. It has been widely launched for the treatment of patients with dyslipidaemia and has also been approved in the US and EU to slow the progression of atherosclerosis.

CHEMICAL (ABSOLUTE)

Atorvastatin calcium (LIPITOR®) is a pyrrole and heptanoic acid derivative, a synthetic lipid-lowering agent. Atorvastatin is a selective, competitive inhibitor of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase. This enzyme catalyzes the conversion of HMG-CoA to mevalonate, an early and rate-limiting step in cholesterol biosynthesis. Atorvastatin is used to reduce serum levels of LDL(low-density lipoprotein)-cholesterol; apolipoprotein B; and triglycerides and to increase serum levels of HDL(high-density lipoprotein)-cholesterol in the treatment of hyperlipidemias and prevention of cardiovascular disease in patients with multiple risk factors.
Perindoprilat is a metabolite of perindopril. Perindopril is a long-acting angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor and it is used to treat high blood pressure, heart failure or stable coronary artery disease. Perindopril is designed to allow oral administration as perindoprilat is poorly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract.
Bisoprolol is a cardioselective beta1-adrenergic blocking agent. It lower the heart rate and blood pressure and may be used to reduce workload on the heart and hence oxygen demands. This results in a reduction of heart rate, cardiac output, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and possibly reflex orthostatic hypotension. Bisoprolol can be used to treat cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, arrhythmias, ischemic heart diseases, and myocardial infarction after the acute event. General side effects are: fatigue, asthenia, chest pain, malaise, edema, weight gain, angioedema. Concurrent use of rifampin increases the metabolic clearance of bisoprolol fumarate, shortening its elimination half-life.
Amlodipine is a dihydropyridine calcium antagonist (calcium ion antagonist or slow-channel blocker) that inhibits the transmembrane influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle and cardiac muscle. Experimental data suggest that amlodipine binds to both dihydropyridine and nondihydropyridine binding sites. The contractile processes of cardiac muscle and vascular smooth muscle are dependent upon the movement of extracellular calcium ions into these cells through specific ion channels. Amlodipine inhibits calcium ion influx across cell membranes selectively, with a greater effect on vascular mooth muscle cells than on cardiac muscle cells. Amlodipine is indicated for the treatment of hypertension and coronary artery disease.
Indapamide is an antihypertensive and a diuretic. It contains both a polar sulfamoyl chlorobenzamide moiety and a lipid- soluble methylindoline moiety. Indapamide blocks the slow component of delayed rectifier potassium current (IKs) without altering the rapid component (IKr) or the inward rectifier current. Specifically it blocks or antagonizes the action the proteins KCNQ1 and KCNE1. Indapamide is also thought to stimulate the synthesis of the vasodilatory hypotensive prostaglandin PGE2. Indapamide is used for the treatment of hypertension, alone or in combination with other antihypertensive drugs, as well as for the treatment of salt and fluid retention associated with congestive heart failure or edema from pregnancy (appropriate only in the management of edema of pathologic origin during pregnancy when clearly needed). Also used for the management of edema as a result of various causes.

(±)-3A,7A-di-epi-Perindopril is a mixture of two isomers (S, RR, SS) and (R, SS, RR) each of which is an isomer of the antihypertensive drug perindopril. The first of which has the same activity as the compound while the second one is almost inactive.

(1''R,3AR)-1'',3A-di-epi-Perindopril is an epimer (S, RS, SR) of the drug perindopril which is commonly used to treat high blood pressure, hypertension, heart failure, or stable coronary artery disease. This form of the drug is much less active than the parent compound, perindopril.

(2R,2'R)-2,2'-di-epi-Perindopril is an epimer (R, SS, RS,) of the drug perindopril which is commonly used to treat high blood pressure, hypertension, heart failure, or stable coronary artery disease. This form of the drug is much less active.
