Methyl Undecylenate is a linear ester with a terminal double bond, that can be used as a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of aromatic chemicals, of polymers or modified silicones. Methyl undecylenate is produced by fractional distillation of the product obtained by the pyrolysis of methyl ricinoleate at a high temperature. Methyl undecylenate is used as a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of organo-modified silicones for hair care preparations and sun care products. It can also be used as a chemical intermediate for synthesizing derivatives based on ammonium or ethanolamide used in hair-care products.

Meproscillarin is a semisynthetic glycoside for the therapy of cardiac insufficiency. Meproscillarin is a drug with a high bioavailability (about 70%). Meproscillarin is at the only non-renal eliminated, lipophilic and short half-life digitalis and is therefore an ideal, cardiac inotropic agent for use in renal insufficiency. Meproscillarin can be used therapeutically in patients with liver cirrhosis, because a toxic accumulation is not to be expected. The rate of side effects of meproscillarin corresponded to that of other cardiac glycosides.

Imidazole salicylate (also known as ITF-182), a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits Tromboxane A2 synthesis, without interfering with cyclo-oxygenase pathway and possesses the limited inhibitory effects on prostaglandin synthesis. Imidazole salicylate can be used for the treatment of osteoarthrosis and musculoskeletal trauma. In addition, it can be given to patients with decompensated cirrhosis without risk of inhibiting kidney prostaglandin synthesis. Imidazole salicylate was characterized by good gastric tolerability and could be assigned for treatment of rheumatic diseases in the elderly. The drug also can be safely used in aspirin-sensitive patients.

Oxilofrine is a sympathomimetic used to treat hypotensive states, with cardiac stimulatory effects similar to those of ephedrine. It has never been approved for use in the USA as a prescription drug or as a dietary supplement. Oxilofrine has been found (1) to act predominantly as a beta1 agonist increasing the speed and force of heart muscle contraction (inotropic effects), specifically, increasing left ventricular ejection fraction and stroke volume; (2) to increase blood pressure; (3) to have variable effects on heart rate; and (4) to potentially increase oxygen uptake by the lungs.

Tetrahydrofuryl salicylate is a derivative of salicylic acid. It is marketed in the UK as a component of Transvasin Heat Rub Cream for the relief of rheumatic and muscular pain and the symptoms of sprains and strains.
Gentamicin is an antibiotic of the aminoglycoside group, is derived by the growth of Micromonospora purpurea, an actinomycete. Gentamicin is a complex of three different closely related aminoglycoside sulfates, Gentamicins C1, C2, and C1a. Gentamicin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, but may cause ear and kidney damage. Gentamicin binds to the prokaryotic ribosome, inhibiting protein synthesis in susceptible bacteria. It is bactericidal in vitro against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Adverse reactions include adverse renal effects, neurotoxicity (dizziness, vertigo, tinnitus, roaring in the ears, hearing loss, peripheral neuropathy or encephalopathy), respiratory depression, lethargy, confusion, depression, visual disturbances, etc.
