Adinazolam, a benzodiazepine agonist, is an effective anxiolytic agent with antidepressant properties. It was shown, that adinazolam by itself had relatively weak benzodiazepine agonist activity, and much of the pharmacological activity belonged to its active metabolite N-desmethyladinazolam (NDMAD). Adinazolam has never been FDA approved, but it is sold as a research chemical.

Afloqualone (AFQ) is one of the centrally acting muscle relaxants. It is a quinazolinone family GABAergic drug and is an analogue of methaqualone developed in the 1970s by a team at Tanabe Seiyaku. It has sedative and muscle-relaxant effects resulting from its agonist activity at the β subtype of the GABAa receptor, and has had some clinical use, although it causes photosensitization as a side-effect that can cause skin problems such as dermatitis.

Targets:
TIANEPTINE, a tricyclic antidepressant, is a drug used for the treatment of the major depressive disorder. It was discovered by The French Society of Medical Research in the 1980s. Unlike other tricyclic antidepressants, TIANEPTINE is a selective serotonin reuptake enhancer with minimal effects on norepinephrine and dopamine uptake. Also, it is a full agonist at the mu-opioid and delta-opioid receptors with no effect at the kappa-opioid receptors. Selective mu-opioid agonists typically induce euphoria, which may contribute to TIANEPTINE's antidepressant effect. It is marketed as Coaxil/Stablon in many European countries, but it is not available in the US.
