Prinomide is a carbamoylpyrrolepropionitrile derivative patented by Ciba-Geigy A.-G. as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that has disease-modifying activity in rheumatoid arthritis. In clinical trials, Prinomide demonstrate significant improvement in symptom score and laboratory variables.

Triamcinolone acetonide- 21-dihydrogen phosphate is the long-acting derivative of a synthetic glucocorticoid triamcinolone. Triamcinolone acetonide has eight times more potency than prednisolone. Triamcinolone acetonide- 21-dihydrogen phosphate used for intravenous injection. It is supposed to be hydrolyzed rapidly in the body to form the free corticoid alcohol.

Oxophenarsine was developed as an antisyphilis drug that can inhibit HIV-1 production. However, information about the further development of this drug is not available.

Phenarsone sulfoxylate (Aldarsone), a pentavalent arsenical, is a condensation product of 3-amino-4 hydroxylphenylarsonic acid with sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate. It is an antiamoebic agent. Aldarsone has a spirochetal power superior to that of tryparsamide. Aldarsone may be used in conjunction with artificial fever therapy and penicillin therapy to improve the results in symptomatic syphilis of the central nervous system (neurosyphilis).
