Burow invented an astringent antiseptic solution of aluminium acetate in water to relieve the itching and inflammation of minor skin irritations. At present the oflicial U. S. P. procedure to made Burow's solution involves the reaction of aluminum sulfate, calcium carbonate and acetic acid to form aluminum sub-acetate, also termed basic aluminum acetate. The solution is available as an over-the-counter drug for topical administration, with brand names including Domeboro. Burow's solution has been shown to be effective against chronic suppurative otitis media and otitis externa. It is active against bacteria resulting in damage to the cell wall.

Teverelix is a polypeptide gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist which was being developed by Ardana Bioscience for the treatment of prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia. Compared with other GnRH antagonists, Teverelix is characterized by relatively good water solubility, little in vitro aggregation, and low histamine-releasing potency, with a dose that produces the halfmaximal response. In preclinical studies, Teverelix has been shown to exert antiovulatory activity. In phase I clinical trials Teverelix shows pronounced luteinizing hormone and testosterone suppressive effects after single subcutaneous doses in healthy men.

Body protective compound – 15 also known as bepecin, BPC 157 or PL 14736, a small, chemically synthesized pentadecapeptide which has been shown to be safe in clinical trials for inflammatory bowel disease and may be able to cure intestinal anastomosis dehiscence. BPC 157 also was involved in phase I development in Ulcerative colitis, however, no reports of development identified. Recently published article has described that BPC 157 had huge potential as a therapy to conservatively treat or aid recovery in hypovascular and hypocellular soft tissues such as tendon and ligaments. Although is still a need to understand the precise healing mechanisms for this therapy to achieve clinical realization.
