11(E)-Eicosenoic acid is a very long-chain ω-9 fatty acid that is a trans monounsaturated isomer of arachidic acid. 11(E)-Eicosenoic acid is one of several monounsaturated 20-carbon fatty acids, and is used to study phospholipid membranes. The combined C20:1 isomers constitute 70% of the total fatty acid pool in jojoba seed oil isolated from plants in the Arizona desert. 11(E)-Eicosenoic acid has been shown to inhibit glycerophosphate acyltransferase, cholinephosphotransferase and ethanolaminephosphotransferase in V79-R cells. 11(E)-Eicosenoic acid lacks the cis-double bond and has virtually no effect on telomerase activity (unlike cis-Unsaturated C20 fatty acids, which demonstrate strong telomerase inhibition and have been studied as a promising cancer therapeutic target).

p-Aminophenol is an active metabolite of paracetamol. p-Aminophenol is conjugated with arachidonic acid by fatty acid amide hydrolase to form AM404. AM404 exerts effect through cannabinoid receptors. p- Aminophenol is a nephrotoxic metabolite of paracetamol and phenacetin. It causes acute renal proximal tubular necrosis after administration to rats. p-Aminophenol may cause skin sensitization, dermatitis. p-Aminophenol is a synthetic dye used in hair coloring.

Methylcobalamin (also known as mecobalamin, MeCbl, or MeB12) is one of the two forms of biologically active vitamin B12. Methyl-B12 is the principal form of circulating vitamin B12, hence the form, which is transported into peripheral tissue. Methylcobalamin is absorbed by the intestine by a specific mechanism, which uses the intrinsic factor, and by a diffusion process in which approximately 1% of the ingested dose is absorbed. Cyanocobalamin and hydroxycobalamin are forms of the vitamin that require conversion to methylcobalamin. Methylcobalamin alone or in combination with others compound are used to treat different diseases. Being a component of CEREFOLIN NAC it is used to treat Alzheimer's dementia. As a part of METANX® tablets is used for the dietary management of endothelial dysfunction in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Methylcobalamin exerted therapeutic effects on neuropathic pain in diabetics, possibly through its neurosynthesis and neuroprotective actions. The possible mechanisms can be considered as follows. (1) Methylcobalamin improved nerve conduction velocity; (2) methylcobalamin promoted injured nerve regeneration, recovering the neuromuscular functions in peripheral hyperalgesia and allodynia; and (3) methylcobalamin inhibited the ectopic spontaneous discharges from peripheral primary sensory neurons in neuropathic pain states. Methylcobalamin is the only form that can cross the blood-brain barrier and so can directly protect brain cells from degeneration. While crossing the barrier, it also stimulates production of serotonin, a chemical neurotransmitter responsible for elevated mood; research where Alzheimer’s patients were administered methylcobalamin showcased improvements in memory, communication skills, and emotions. It also helps form the myelin sheath, the insular coating around nerve cells that allow for electrical impulses to travel through the nervous system more efficiently.

Troclosene is chlorinated hydroxytriazine and it is used as a source of free available chlorine, in the form of hypochlorous acid, for the disinfection of water. It kills bacteria, bacterial spores, cysts, algae, fungi, protozoa and virus and are especially lethal to Entamoeba histolytica. Troclosene kills mastitis-causing organisms. It is now widely available for household water treatment. It does not prevent diarrhea but improved water quality.

Kinetin (6-furfuryladenine) is a biologically active natural phytochemical. It belongs to the category of cytokinins, the natural plant growth hormones that promote cell division and play role in cell differentiation. Kinetin functions as an essential growth hormone, which can influence cell growth and differentiation. It can delay and offset aging characteristics such as cell growth rate and size. It is claimed to reduce wrinkles and improve skin texture, telangiectasia, and mottled hyperpigmentation, although there is limited information to support this.
