Impromidine is a highly potent and specific histamine H2 receptor agonist used diagnostically as a gastric secretion indicator. The value of impromidine as an effective acid-secretory stimulant is limited by its tendency to cause cardiovascular side-effects, that mediated by H2-receptors in the cardiovascular system.

Gold monoiodide (AuI; Aurum iodatum) is a chemical compound of gold and iodine. This compound can be synthesized by heating gold and iodine in a sealed tube at 120°C for about four months. It decomposes when treated with hot water, but its related complexes are much more stable. It’s used like unapproved homeopathic product for treatment of Senile Paresis. This product is to be used for self-limiting conditions. If symptoms do not improve in 4 days, or worsen, discontinue use and seek assistance of health professional

CERULETIDE, also known as caerulein, is a specific decapeptide obtained from the skin of Hila caerulea, an Australian amphibian. It is similar in action and composition to the natural gastrointestinal peptide hormone cholecystokinin. It stimulates gastric, biliary, and pancreatic secretion; and certain smooth muscle. In the research setting, CERULETIDE can be used to induce pancreatitis in experimental animal models.

Conditions:
Iopanoic acid and ipodate salts have been used for oral cholangiography to visualize the biliary ducts. Ipodate salts have been used for the long-term treatment of Graves' disease and in hyperthyroidism. Ipodate reduced levels of T3 and T4 in the patients. Ipodate also inhibits the conversion of T4 to T3. It is not considered a first-line approach. Ipodate sodium lacks FDA approval for these uses. During investigation of mechanism of action was discovered, that binding of sodium ipodate with nuclear T3 receptors was not a prominent mechanism via which the drug attenuates T3 effects in vivo. Sodium ipodate could enhance T3 effects at the cellular level and that enhancement could not be reflected by routinely monitored serum TSH.
