Tetraglycine hydroperiodide is an iodine-containing chemical, used for water purification. Tetraglycine hydroperiodide is marketed in tablets; each tablet effectively disinfects 1 liter of clear water or 0.5 liter of tainted water by releasing approximately 8 mg free iodine. It requires approximately 30 minutes to inactivate target microorganisms and make water bacteriologically suitable for drinking. To remove iodine taste, a vitamin C pill is added to the kit.

Benzyl Alcohol is an aromatic alcohol used in a wide variety of cosmetic formulations as a fragrance component, preservative, solvent, and viscosity-decreasing agent. FDA agency approved benzyl alcohol for the treatment of head lice. The drug acts on head lice by inhibiting them from closing their respiratory spiracles, allowing the vehicle to obstruct the spiracles and causing the lice to asphyxiate.

Benzocaine is a local anesthetic. It acts by blocking voltage-gated sodium ion channels in nerve endings. Benzocaine is available over-the counter for local anesthesia of oral and pharyngeal mucous membranes (sore throat, cold sores, mouth ulcers, toothache, sore gums, denture irritation), otic pain, and as a local anesthetic for surgical or diagnostic procedures. As a spray, benzocaine is used for temporary relief of pain and itching associated with minor burns, sunburn, minor cuts or scrapes, insect bites, or minor skin irritations. Topical application of benzocaine to gums or mouth may cause rare, but serious and potentially fatal adverse effect methemoglobinemia.

Methyl salicylate (or methyl 2-hydroxybenzoate), also known as wintergreen oil, is a natural product and is present in white wine, tea, porcini mushroom Boletus edulis, Bourbon vanilla, clary sage, red sage and fruits including cherry, apple, raspberry, papaya and plum. Methyl salicylate is topically used in combination with methanol and under brand name SALONPAS to temporarily relieves mild to moderate aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with: strains, sprains, simple backache, arthritis, bruises. The precise mechanism of action of methyl salicylate is not known, but there is suggested, that it cause dilation of the capillaries thereby increasing blood flow to the area.

Levopropylcillin – is a penicillin derivative, L-enantiomer of antibiotic Propicillin. Levopropylcillin properties are similar to benzylpenicillin particularly used in streptococcal infections, not resistant to penicillinase. Levopropylcillin is acid resistant and can be used orally as the potassium salt.

Piroxicillin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. In vitro it is more active than piperacillin, apalcillin and mezlocillin especially against the following strains; E. coli, Ps. aeruginosa, Ps. stutzeri, K. pneumoniae, Eb. cloacae, Ser. marcescens, Proteus, Sh. flexneri, Y. enterocolitica, Cb. freundii, Acb. calcoaceticus, Bacteroides and Sc. faecalis. It shows very low MIC values against clinically important Gram-negative bacteria, primarily Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The action of piroxicillin is bactericidal.

CHEMICAL (RACEMIC)
Adicillin (Penicillin N) is a penicillin derivative produced by Cephalosporium acremonium. Adicillin is dextrorotatory. Inactivated by penicillinase as is penicillin G, but differs from the common penicillin by its antibacterial activity and hydrophilic character. Active against Sarcina lutea, Proteus vulgaris, Salmonella typhimurium, Diplococcus pneumoniae. Shows practically no activity against B. subtilis and Staph. aureus. The toxicity is somewhat less than that of penicillin G, although penicillin N is excreted more slowly.

Sepetoprost (also known as ONO-9054), prostaglandin analog was developed as a dual agonist of prostaglandin E3 (EP3) and prostaglandin F (FP) receptors. It is known, that the use of a dual prostaglandin EP3 and prostaglandin F receptor agonists is a novel approach for the reduction of intraocular pressure (IOP) in open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. Sepetoprost was successfully studied in clinical trials phase II for the treatment of open-angle glaucoma, ocular hypertension, and mild open angle-glaucoma.
