Prazarelix is gonadorelin (GnRH) antagonist. It is primarily used in assisted reproduction to control ovulation. The drug works by blocking the action of GnRH upon the pituitary, thus rapidly suppressing the production and action of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH).

Perchloric acid is a strong acid used for complete digestions of organic material. To prevent injury, goggles or face shield, gloves, and apron must be worn. Perchloric acid must not be mixed with any other waste and should be stored separately from the other chemicals.

IOTHIOURACIL, in a form of sodium salt, was used as an antithyroid agent in the treatment of hyperthyroidism. It is selectively incorporated into the melanin pigment of melanomas during biosynthesis by serving as false melanin precursors. Radiolabelled (125I) IOTHIOURACIL may be used as a radiopharmaceutical for diagnosis and therapy of melanotic melanomas.

Mozavaptan hydrochloride was approved by Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency of Japan (PMDA) on July 26, 2006. It was developed and marketed as Physuline® by Otsuka in Japan. Mozavaptan hydrochloride is a vasopressin receptor antagonist. It is indicated for the treatment of hyponatremia due to excessive fluid retention when restriction of fluid intake is ineffective. Physuline® is available as film-coated tablet for oral use, containing 30 mg of Mozavaptan hydrochloride. The recommended dose is one tablet (30 mg) once daily after a meal.

Atosiban (brand name Tractocile) is a competitive antagonist of human oxytocin at receptor level. In rats and guinea pigs, atosiban was shown to bind to oxytocin receptors, to decrease the frequency of contractions and the tone of the uterine musculature, resulting in a suppression of uterine contractions. Atosiban was also shown to bind to the vasopressin receptor, thus inhibiting the effect of vasopressin. Tractocile is indicated to delay imminent pre-term birth in pregnant adult women with: − regular uterine contractions of at least 30 seconds duration at a rate of ≥ 4 per 30 minutes − a cervical dilation of 1 to 3 cm (0-3 for nulliparas) and effacement of ≥ 50% − a gestational age from 24 until 33 completed weeks − a normal foetal heart rate. Atosiban does not have U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for use in the United States.
