Alarelin (Gonadotrophin-releasing hormone) is a synthetic LH-RH agonist, which is used to treat endmometriosis. Alarelin Acetate is the acetate form of a hypothalamic peptide that stimulates the release of FSH and LH from the pituitary gland.

TIANEPTINE, a tricyclic antidepressant, is a drug used for the treatment of the major depressive disorder. It was discovered by The French Society of Medical Research in the 1980s. Unlike other tricyclic antidepressants, TIANEPTINE is a selective serotonin reuptake enhancer with minimal effects on norepinephrine and dopamine uptake. Also, it is a full agonist at the mu-opioid and delta-opioid receptors with no effect at the kappa-opioid receptors. Selective mu-opioid agonists typically induce euphoria, which may contribute to TIANEPTINE's antidepressant effect. It is marketed as Coaxil/Stablon in many European countries, but it is not available in the US.

Bamethan (butyl-sympatol or vasculat) is an adrenaline derivative developed by C. H. Boehringer Sohn. Bamethan shows a depressor action on peripheral blood vessels as a result of the peripheral vasodilating action caused by stimulation of adrenergic beta-receptor. Bamethan has been used abroad in the treatment of certain peripheral vascular and circulatory disturbances, such as vasospastic conditions, arteriosclerotic peripheral vascular disease, Raynaud's syndrome, occlusive vascular disease of the legs, the post-thrombotic syndrome, degenerative muscular disorders, and other conditions involving peripheral vascular insuffciency.

4-tert-Pentylphenol (4-tert-Amylphenol) is used to make phenolic resins (novolaks and resoles), which are used in paints and varnishes and as printing ink resins. The ethoxylated novolaks are used as oil field demulsifiers. Because of the high cost of 4-tert-pentylphenol, which is related to the high cost of the starting material, many of the resin applications have been reformulated using 4-tertbutylphenol. The substance is also used as a germicide in cleaning solutions, although it is being replaced by quaternary ammonium salts. Kegley et al. (2007) confirm that both the substance and its potassium and sodium salts are antimicrobial or fungicidal active ingredients of several disinfectant products that are currently registered with the US authorities. It appears that some of these products are used in animal husbandry, including the control of highly infectious diseases such as avian influenza (US EPA, 2007d). 4-tert-Amylphenol was used as an esterogen receptor (ER) ligand.
Enilconazole is a synthetic broad-spectrum antimycotic with a high activity against most of the common dermatophytes and various other fungi and yeasts. It is a selective inhibitor of ergosterol biosynthesis, an essential component of the cell membrane of fungi and yeasts. This results in irreversible changes which are the origin of the fungicidal effect. Enilconazole is marketed under the brand name Imaverol among others. Imaverol concentrated solution is a synthetic antimycotic with a potent antifungal action against dermatophytes such as: Trichophyton verrucosum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Trichophyton equinum, and Microsporum canis in horses and dogs.

Fenoterol is a beta2-adrenoreceptor agonist, used as a bronchodilator for the treatment and prevention of bronchospasms, associated with asthma and chronic obstructive airway disease, including bronchitis and pulmonary emphysema. Fenoterol is also used for tocolysis during premature labor. Marketing of fenoterol for treatment of asthma was suspended in Australia and New Zealand because of an increased risk of deaths, most likely due to excessive self-administration of the drug.

Picamilon (also known as N-nicotinoyl-GABA, Pycamilon, and Pikamilon) is a drug formed by a synthetic combination of niacin and GABA. It was developed in the Soviet Union in 1969 and further studied in both Russia and Japan as a prodrug of GABA. Picamilon permeated the blood-brain barrier and then is hydrolyzed into GABA and niacin. The released GABA, in theory, would activate GABA receptors potentially producing an anxiolytic response. The second released component, niacin, is a vasodilator. Today picamilon is sold in Russia as a prescription drug and is used for the treatment of a variety of illnesses and disorders, ranging from depression to a migraine, neuro infections, senile psychosis, certain types of glaucoma, and even acute alcohol intoxication. As of 2015, the FDA classified picamilon as a substance that does not meet the requirements of a dietary supplement and is therefore no longer permitted to be sold in the United States.

Spaglumic acid (NAAG) is the β-aspartyl isoform of N-Acetyl-l-aspartylglutamate (isospaglumic Acid is N-(N-Acetyl-l-α-aspartyl)-l-glutamic acid). In eye drops, spaglumic acid is either a magnesium or sodium salt of N-Acetyl-l-aspartylglutamate. Spaglumic acid is a mast cell stabilizer. Thus it is used in allergic conditions such as allergic conjunctivitis. Specifically spaglumic acid is approved in Portugal under the brand name Naabak and in Greece under the brand name Naaxia for use in patients with allergic conjunctivitis. Spaglumic Acid is a peptide neurotransmitter and the third-most-prevalent neurotransmitter in the mammalian nervous system. It is a weak activator of NMDA receptors and a highly selective agonist for mGlu3 receptors. Spaglumic Acid is neuroprotective under non-hydrolysing conditions in vivo.
Phenibut (beta-phenyl-gamma-aminobutyric acid or 4-amino-3-phenylbutyric acid) is a neuropsychotropic drug that was discovered and introduced into clinical practice in Russia in the 1960s. It has anxiolytic and nootropic (cognition enhancing) effects. It acts as a GABA-mimetic, primarily at GABA(B) receptors. Pharmacological activity of racemic phenibut relies on R-phenibut and this correlates to the binding affinity of enantiomers of phenibut to the GABAB receptor. In addition R-phenibut binds to the α2-δ subunit of voltage-dependent calcium channels. It is highly effective in treating anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, asthenia, insomnia, alcoholism, stuttering, and vestibular disorders. It also improves mental performance (attention, memory, speed and accuracy of sensory-motor reactions), physical performance, reduces sleep disorders as well as movement and speech disorders.
