Class (Stereo):
CHEMICAL (RACEMIC)
Targets:
Clorotepine (aka octoclothepin or octoclothepine) is an antipsychotic from the tricyclic group derived from perathiepin. It was originally developed in 1965 and marketed in the Czech Republic by Spofa in or around 1971 for the treatment of schizophrenic psychosis. Clorotepine has a high affinity for the dopamine (D1, D2, D3, D4), receptors the serotonin 5-HT (2A, 2B, 2C, 6, 7) receptors, the alpha-adrenergic receptors (1A, 1B, 1D), and the histamine H1 receptors. In most instances, it acts as an antagonist (or inverse agonist). Clorotepine will also block the reuptake of norepinephrine by inhibiting the norepinephrine transporter.

Hepzidine (BS 7051) is a compound, possessing antidepressive and anticholinergic properties.

CHEMICAL (UNKNOWN)
Conditions:
Furfenorex (unde brand name Frugalan), was used against obesity as an appetite suppressant. One of its metabolite was metamphetamine, which lead to the abuse to the drug. That is why this drug is no longer marketed

Dimetridazole is an anti-fungal and anti-protozoal drug traditionally used in veterinary for the prevention and treatment of histomoniasis in turkeys, genital trichomoniasis in cattle and hemorrhagic enteritis in pigs. Results from the in vitro and in vivo tests suggested, that dimetridazole was not genotoxic compound, but its use is legally limited, although this compound is still can be found in eggs.

CHEMICAL (ACHIRAL)
Targets:
Furegrelate (previously known as U-63557A), a selective orally active thromboxane synthase inhibitor, with potential for the treatment of various diseases including hypertension, thrombosis, and renal disorders, arrhythmias, but these studies were discontinued.

Sulfasuccinamide is a sulfonamide antibacterial with properties
similar to those of sulfamethoxazole. It has been applied
topically in the treatment of local infections of the ear, nose, and
throat. It has also been given as the sodium salt. Sulfasuccinamide is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor.

(-)-3-(3-hydroxyphenyl)-N-n-propylpiperidine ((-)-3-PPP, also known as preclamol) has a dual action towards to dopamine D2 autoreceptor: it activates it and also acts concomitantly as an antagonist at postsynaptic DA receptors. It was shown, that (-)-3PPP/preclamol was a safe drug for study in the treatment of schizophrenia and may have antipsychotic efficacy. Besides, the motor effects of the drug were evaluated in nine patients with Parkinson's disease using a double-blind, placebo-controlled design. However, the small number of patients manifesting a clinically significant response and the frequently inconsistent effects could indicate that this class of agents may have relatively limited clinical utility.

Coumermycin is from the aminocoumarin class of antibiotic compounds which acts by inhibiting DNA gyrase. Coumermycin is effective against gram-positive bacteria, but not gram-negative bacteria. Coumermycin its derivatives have been studied since the 1950's as potential antibiotic. However, it has seen little to no clinical development because of its low water solubility, toxicity profile, and ineffectiveness against gram-negative bacteria.

5-Methoxytryptamine (aka 5-MT, mexamine) is a tryptamine derivative closely related to the neurotransmitters serotonin and melatonin. 5-MT is produced endogenously at low levels; it is biosynthesized by deacetylation of melatonin in the pineal gland. 5-MT acts as a full agonist at the 5-HT1, 5-HT2, 5-HT4, 5-HT6, and 5-HT7 receptors. It is often used as a chemical probe in the study of serotonin receptors, but it has also been used in a clinical trial to mitigate the anemic effects of cisplatin chemotherapy.
