Broxaterol is a β2 adrenoreceptor agonist used for the treatment of respiratory disease. Broxaterol produced a significant clinical improvement, an increase in FEV1 and a decrease in supplemental anti-asthmatic drugs used in patients with reversible airflow obstruction and in asthmatic children. The increases in FEV1 versus baseline were significantly maintained after the end of the treatment. Prompt disappearance of the asthmatic attack with significant improvement in lung function was observed in children. In two long-term controlled trials, the respiratory effects of broxaterol nebulizer solution were significantly greater than placebo. Moreover, broxaterol by metered dose inhaler was more effective than salbutamol after 3 months follow-up, showing the absence of tachyphylaxis. In long-term clinical evaluation, broxaterol has been shown to be well tolerated, with an incidence of adverse reactions equal to or less than that reported in the literature for other beta 2-agonists. The side effects most frequently associated with broxaterol were tremor, nervousness, and palpitations.

INN:trestolone

Class (Stereo):
CHEMICAL (ABSOLUTE)

Trestolone is a synthetic androgen that inhibits the release of follicle-stimulating hormone and impairs spermatogenesis. Luteinizing hormone is also suppressed, which cuts production of testosterone. The azoospermia and oligospermia are reversible after discontinuation of trestolone. Trestolone has androgenic and anabolic properties and loss of secondary sex characteristics is not seen. Like testosterone, trestolone undergoes enzymatic aromatization to an estrogen. The use of trestolone instead of testosterone for androgen replacement therapy could have health-promoting effects by reducing the occurrence of prostate disease. Trestolone had been in phase II clinical trial for the andropause control. However, this development was discontinued.

Conditions:

Bioresmethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide. It is the (+)-trans isomer of resmethrin which itself contains a minimum of 30% bioresmethrin. Bioresmethrin is the [1R, trans] isomer of resmethrin and has greater insecticidal activity than the racemic mixture. Bioresmethrin is a potent contact insecticide effective against a wide range of household insects, plant pests, grain pests and insects found in animal housing. It exhibits a high order of insecticidal activity, which when coupled with its excellent toxicological properties, makes it potentially one of the safest and most useful insecticides now being produced.

Merestinib (LY2801653) is a small molecule that has been shown in vitro to be a reversible type II ATP-competitive slowoff inhibitor of MET tyrosine kinase with a dissociation constant (Ki) of 2 nM, a pharmacodynamic residence time (Koff) of 0.00132 min−1 and a half-life (t1/2) of 525 min. Preclinical testing also has shown merestinib to inhibit several other receptor tyrosine oncokinases including MST1R, FLT3, AXL, MERTK, TEK, ROS1, NTRK1/2/3, and DDR1/2 and the serine/threonine kinases MKNK1/2. Merestinib is being investigated in a phase II clinical trials in patients with biliary tract cancer, non-small cell lung cancer and solid tumours.

Pentamethonium is a ganglionic blocking agent that was studied for the treatment of hypertension. In addition, this drug was used as an adjuvant to atropine in the therapy of paraoxon poisoning. Besides, it was used in surgical disease. However, information about the current application of this drug is not available.

Prodeconium Bromide is a Decamethylene derivative with neuromuscular blocking activity. Prodeconium Bromide acts as a muscle relaxant of short action and belongs to the group of mixed blocking agents. Its complete effect in man is obtained in 100 sec. and lasts for 7 min. Respiratory paralysis is produced by 1 mg/kg of Prodeconium

Dextrofemine is the (+)-form of racefemine. It is antispasmodic agent. Dextrofemine was used as utrine spasmolytic or muscle relaxant.
Psilocybin is a naturally occurring psychedelic prodrug compound produced by more than 200 species of mushrooms, collectively known as psilocybin mushrooms. Once ingested, psilocybin is rapidly metabolized to the psilocin, which then acts on serotonin receptors in the brain. Psilocybin was identified as the active hallucinogenic compound in magic mushrooms in 1959, but humans have used assorted psilocybin mushrooms in religious ceremonies since prehistoric times. In the 1960's psilocybin was marketed for use as a treatment for various psychoses, however, it was withdrawn from the market when the regulatory environment changed. Recently there has been as renewed interest in studying the medicinal uses of psilocybin for treatment of anxiety, depression, migraine headaches, addictions, and other neuropsychiatric conditions.
