Ioxilan is a nonionic X-ray contrast agent approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration for X-ray imaging contrast enhancement. Ioxilan can be administered intravenously for excretory urography and contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) imaging of the head and body.
