Quindecamine (also known as UCL-1407) is quinaldine derivative with antibiotic and fungicidal activity. Treatment of rats and mice with Quindecamine (250 mg/kg/ day) each day for 4 weeks followed by 500 mg/kg/day for 2 more weeks reduced spontaneous motility and body weight but produced no pathological abnormalities of the various organs studied. In vitro, the drug showed very good activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus hemolyticus, Candida albicans, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, and T. vaginalis. The drug had very good activity in 180 human subjects with various bacterial and mycotic diseases of the skin and mucosa when applied as a 1% salve.

Triamcinolone acetonide- 21-dihydrogen phosphate is the long-acting derivative of a synthetic glucocorticoid triamcinolone. Triamcinolone acetonide has eight times more potency than prednisolone. Triamcinolone acetonide- 21-dihydrogen phosphate used for intravenous injection. It is supposed to be hydrolyzed rapidly in the body to form the free corticoid alcohol.
NSC-LSC1 is a novel compound having an antitumor activity belonging to an analogue of taxol. As with the taxol, the NSC-LSC1 has a low toxicity and a high antitumor activity. NSC-LSC1 exhibits a high proliferation inhibitory activity against human or animal cancer cells transplanted into a test animal and further, a low toxicity to the animal which renders NSC-LSC1 promising as a compound for use in the field of chemotherapy of cancers.
