The phenylpyrazosteroid cortivazol is a selective agonist ligand for the glucocorticoid receptor (GR), a steroid receptor member of the nuclear receptor superfamily of transcription factors. Cortivazol is an apoptotic, anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive agent that has been used in the treatment of diskogenic radiculopathy, back pain, osteoarthritis and acute childhood lymphoblastic leukemia. Cortivazol has potent antileukemic activity in childhood ALL. Its activity is related to cell cycle arrest and induction of apoptosis. Cortivazol (Altim) is indicated in rheumatological diseases:
- In intra-articular injection: inflammatory arthritis, advanced osteoarthritis.
- In periarticular injection: tendinitis, bursitis.
- In injection of soft tissue: talalgia, carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren’s contracture.
- In epidural injection: radiculalgia

Meclofenoxate (INN, BAN) (brand name Lucidril), also known as centrophenoxine, is a cholinergic nootropic used as a dietary supplement and drug in the treatment of symptoms of senile dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Meclofenoxate has been shown in studies to be effective in enhancing the memory and in improving the cognitive functions of the elderly. Some studies even suggest that Meclofenoxate has the ability to reverse the signs of brain aging. While claims about its ability as a nootropic agent have not been fully established in clinical trials, some studies do strongly suggest that it is indeed very effective in improving memory retention and recall. Meclofenoxate HCL Powder for Injection is also indicated for the following conditions: comma; skull and brain trauma; following a stroke; encephalopathy; mental disorders (in combination with psychotropic agents); mental and psychomotor retardation in children; brain intoxication; alcohol psychoses; neuritis and polyneuritis. The main mechanism of action of Meclofenoxate is generally believed to be cholinergic in nature. As an efficient transporter of DMAE, Meclofenoxate encourages the production of choline in the brain, which is then synthesized into acetylcholine. The more acetylcholine neurotransmitters in the brain, the better and more efficient the cognitive functions will be. Meclofenoxate also increases cellular membrane phospholipids

Cyproterone acetate is a steroid drug which was developed by Schering A.G (now Bayer). Cyproterone acetate was approved in Canada, Asia, Latin America and Europe for the treatment of sever acne under the name Diane-35 (ethinyl estradiol) and its mechanism of action in this condition is explained by competitive inhibition of androgen receptor AR. In Canada cyproterone acetate is widely used as a contraceptive, however its usage is associated with liver toxicity and clots formation. In the UK the drug is marketed for the treatment of prostate cancer (Cyproterone acetate brand name).

Benorilate is an aspirin-paracetamol ester with analgesic, antiinflammatory, and antipyretic properties. After absorption, it is rapidly metabolised to salicylate and paracetamol. It has been used orally in the treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever. It has also been used in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and soft-tissue rheumatism. Associated adverse reactions: nausea, diarrhea or constipation, digestive disorders or heartburn, occasionally - a transient skin rash, and sleepiness. Benoral should not be administered concomitantly with probenecid or any other uricosuric agents that decrease tubular reabsorption as any form of salicylate antagonises this effect when given in doses of less than 5 gm per day.

Norgestimate is a steroidal progestin of the 19-nortestosterone group that is used in combination with ethinylestradiol as an oral contraceptive and for treatment of acne. and in combination with estradiol in menopausal hormone replacement therapy. Norgestimate shows high selectivity for the progesterone receptor and low androgenic activity.
