Disodium iminodiacetate is a salt of iminodiacetic acid (IDA). The iminodiacetate anion can act as a tridentate ligand to form a metal complex with two, fused, five-membered chelate rings. Iminodiacetic acid is used to diagnose problems of the liver, gallbladder and bile ducts in an imaging procedure, called as hepatobiliary iminodiacetic acid (HIDA) scan. A nuclear medicine scanner tracks the flow of the tracer from the liver into the gallbladder and small intestine and creates computer images. In addition, iminodiacetate is a part of the iminodiacetate-modified poly-L-lysine dendrimer (IMPLD), a fluorescent bone-imaging agent. IMPLD is used in the diagnosis of bone tumors, or to be used for the delivery of chemotherapy drugs or therapeutic agents. Bones differ from other body tissues in their unique calcium mineral composition, which consists mainly of hydroxyapatite (HA). IDA functionalization could be used as a general approach to bone targeting by increasing affinity for HA, enabling the transport of other molecules or particles to bones.

Enibomal (narcobarbital) is a barbiturate drug. By its chemical structure, it is N-methylated derivative of propallynolal. Narcobarbital was discovered in 1930s and later investigated as an anesthetic agent in gynecological surgery and electroconvulsive treatment. In the United States, narcobarbital is classified as a schedule III drug and is not found in pharmaceutical preparations. In Europe, narcobarbital was used in veterinary as a general anesthetic for pigs, but by 2000 it was withdrawn and no longer available at the market.

Trichloroisocyanuric acid (1,3,5-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-tri-one or TCCA) is an N-halo compound which has been known since 1902. It has been used primarily as a disinfectant in swimming pools and water treatment as bleaching agent and bactericide. Recently, TCCA has become attractive candidate as a homogeneous catalyst in organic transformations due to its lack of volatility, commercial availability, low cost and ease of handling. And is also used as a bleaching agent in the textile industry

Targets:
Pyridoxamine (PM) is one of three natural forms of vitamin B6. It is a critical transient intermediate in catalysis of transamination reactions by vitamin B6-dependent enzymes. In preclinical or clinical trials PM has demonstrated pharmacological potential
for treatment of diabetic nephropathy, diabetic retinopathy, and hyperlipidemia, and
for use in kidney stone preventive therapies. Although its precise mode of action in
vivo is not yet clear, it is likely that at least three mechanisms are at play: inhibition
of post-Amadori steps of the Maillard reaction; scavenging of reactive carbonyl
compounds; and inhibition of toxic effects of ROS. Pyridoxamine was marketed as a dietary supplement, often as the hydrochloride salt, pyridoxamine dihydrochloride. However, in the United States, the FDA ruled in January 2009 that pyridoxamine must be regulated as a pharmaceutical drug because it is the active ingredient in Pyridorin, a drug designed to prevent the progression of diabetic nephropathy.

Sodium Antimonate is Sodium salt of antimonic acid. Sodium Antimonate is used in the Glass Industry as a fining agent or degasser, especially in colour television bulbs and optical glass. Sodium Antimonate is a fire retardant with very low tinting characteristics. As such it is used in plastics, paints, fibre glass resins and various textile goods.
