Mofezolac is an NSAID ) (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug), which acts via the cyclooxygenase enzyme, preferentially to COX-1. It was introduced for the treatment of postoperative and posttraumatic pain, acute upper respiratory tract pain, osteoarthritis, and lumbago.
