Sarpogrelate (brand name Anplag; former developmental code names MCI-9042, LS-187,118) is a drug which acts as an antagonist at the 5HT2A and 5-HT2B receptors. It blocks serotonin-induced platelet aggregation and has applications in the treatment of many diseases including diabetes mellitus, Buerger's disease, Raynaud's disease, coronary artery disease, angina pectoris, and atherosclerosis.

Drotaverine, an antispasmodic drug, is a synthetic derivative of the natural isoquinoline alkaloid of Papaver somniferum, papaverine. It inhibits cyclic-3',5'-nucleotide-phophodiesterase (PDE) enzymes with concentration-dependent specificity, in addition, it behaves as a L-type voltage- operated calcium channel (L-VOCC) blocker. Drotaverin also acts as a cytostatic compound for several human tumor cell lines. Drotaverine is an effective medicine to treat spasm or twitches of the smooth muscles in the stomach and heart. It is used to relieve pain caused due to irritable bowel syndrome, headache, menstrual periods, and is also used to relieve cervical spasm during labor.

Rupatadine is characterised as a non-sedating H1 anti-histamine and platelet-activating factor (PAF) receptor antagonist. Rupatadine is indicated for the treatment of allergic rhinitis and urticaria. Rupatadine is a safe and well tolerated drug in patients over 2 years old, with no central nervous system or cardiovascular effects and it can be taken with or without foods.

Roxatidine is an histamine H2-receptor antagonist. Roxatidine is a potent and selective inhibitor of basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion through competitive blockade of H2-receptors. Total pepsin secretion is reduced in a dose-dependent manner. There is an independent mucosal protection action. Roxatidine is indicated for the treatment of peptic ulcer, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, gastritis, upper gastrointestinal haemorrhage and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome also it can be used as a premedication before anaesthesia. Roxatidine possessed a robust estrogenic activity.

Mechlorethamine Oxide was approved by the FDA in 1949 for the treatment of hematologic malignancies, alkylating agents are the oldest class of anticancer agents. A biologic alkylating agent exerts its cytotoxic effects by forming DNA adducts and DNA interstrand crosslinks, thereby inhibiting rapidly proliferating cells. Mechlorethamine Oxide is an antineoplastic agent used to treat Hodgkin desease and Lymphoma. Known under the brand names of Mustargen and Valchlor in USA. The FDA granted marketing approval for the orphan drug Valchlor (mechlorethamine) gel on August 23, 2013 for the topical treatment of stage IA and IB mycosis fungoides-type cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) in patients who have received prior skin-directed therapy. Each tube of Valchlor contains 0.016% of mechlorethamine which is equivalent to 0.02% mechlorethamine HCL.

Calcium dobesilate (brand name Doxium) is a veno-tonic drug, which is widely prescribed in more than 60 countries from Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East for three main indications: chronic venous disease, diabetic retinopathy and the symptoms of haemorrhoidal attack. This drugs also in the phase III of clinical trial is an effective adjuvant therapy, with an absence of significant side-effects, in patients with venous ulcers and stasis dermatitis. It was suggested, that the inhibitory effect of calcium dobesilate on platelet function is mediated through the cyclic AMP pathway, and probably through activation of adenyl cyclase.
