Cyclazodone is a stimulant drug developed by American Cyanamid Company. Administration of the drug led to an increase in spontaneous activity. The compound is claimed to be useful as a psychotonic drug in depressive states, anxiety, as an anti-fatigue agent, and as an anorexigenic drug. The compound is included in the World Anti-Doping Agency prohibited list.

Sulrnazole (the former AR-L 115 BS) is a benzimidazole derivative with positive inotropic, positive chronotropic and vasodilator effects. Sulrnazole also has been shown to improve cardiac index and reduce pulmonary capillary wedge pressure without significant change in heart rate or arterial pressure. Intravenous administration caused a 217 per cent increase in cardiac output with a 25 per cent decrease in pulmonary wedge pressure. Short-term oral administration resulted in a 317 per cent increase in cardiac index and a 317 per cent increase in ejection fraction. Side effects have included visual blurring and transient colour blindness. Sulmazol has been demonstrated to improve regional wall motion in patients with ischemic heart disease and to abolish pacing-induced ischemia. Sulrnazole is an A1 adenosine receptor antagonist. It is also a phosphodiesterase inhibitor.

Linsitinib is an inhibitor of the insulin receptor and the insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor, which may result in the inhibition of tumor cell proliferation and the induction of tumor cell apoptosis. Linsitinib is in phase II clinical trials for the treatment of metastatic prostate carcinoma, gastrointestinal stromal tumors and other cancers. Common adverse events included fatigue, nausea hyperglycaemia and anorexia.

Targets:
Foretinib is an orally available multikinase inhibitor that targets c-MET and VEGFR2 with high affinity, which may result in the inhibition of tumor angiogenesis, tumor cell proliferation and metastasis. Foretinib is an experimental drug candidate for the treatment of cancer. It was in Phase II trials for the treatment breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, gastric cancer, head and neck cancer and papillary renal-cell carcinoma. The most frequent adverse events of any grade associated with foretinib were fatigue, hypertension, gastrointestinal toxicities, and nonfatal pulmonary emboli.

Adaprolol is a beta-adrenergic antagonist that is being developed as a topical agent to treat glaucoma. Adaprolol demonstrated a safer cardiovascular profile, especially in the population over 70 years old. It was in Phase II clinical trials for the treatment of glaucoma. This research has been discontinued.

MK-2866 (Gtx-024) is a selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) for treatment of conditions such as muscle wasting and osteoporosis. It is a non-steroidal agent with anabolic activity designed to work like testosterone, thus promoting and/or maintaining libido, fertility, prostate growth, and muscle growth and strength. Mimicking testosterone's action, this agent may increase lean body mass, thereby ameliorating muscle wasting in the hypermetabolic state of cancer cachexia.
