Thiazinamium is an anti-cholinergic phenothiazine deriva¬tive, which also has antihistaminic properties. Intramuscular injection of Thiazinamium induces considerable bronchodilatation, but inconsistent results have been obtained after oral administration. The bioavailability of oral Thiazinamium is only 2-3% of that occurring after intramuscular injection. Intrarectal Thiazinamium is slightly better absorbed (3-9%). The elimination half-life of the parenteral drug is short, being about 20 minutes in most patients. Thiazinamium has been available for the treatment of asthma since the early 1960s but currently withdrawn in most countries. Compared with inhaled ipratropium bromide, intramuscular Thiazinamium and intramuscular atropine were associated with 'extremely frequent side-effects’. Notable tachycardia occurred shortly after intramuscular injection of Thiazinamium in two trials. Dry mouth was reported as ‘frequent’ with oral Thiazinamium, and micturition problems of moderate severity affected 13% of patients.

Dequalinium is a quaternary ammonium cation commonly available as the dichloride salt. Dequalinium chloride has an antiseptic effect against a wide range of bacteria, yeasts, and some fungi and viruses. It kills the micro-organisms associated with various mild infections of the mouth and throat. Also, Dequalinium chloride is active against the bacteria which cause bacterial vaginosis. Dequalinium Chloride (DECA) is a PKC inhibitor and high-affinity blocker CNGA1 channel, and nearly as effective on heteromeric CNGA1+CNGB1 channels. Common side effects are: vaginal discharge; vaginal itching or vaginal burning; vaginal yeast infection (thrush); tender tongue.

Lidamidine, also known as WHR-1142A and Lidaral, is an alpha2-adrenergic receptor agonist that inhibits intestinal secretion, reduces intestinal transit, and inhibits smooth muscle contraction. Lidamidine hydrochloride is used to treat diarrhoea and other gastrointestinal disorders. Lidamidine’s intestinal antisecretory effects are mediated through the activation of peripheral alpha-2 adrenoceptors. Lidamidine crosses the blood brain barrier poorly and is therefore devoid of the centrally mediated alpha-2 effects that have limited the use of other alpha-2 adrenoceptor agonists in the intestinal tract.

Ciramadol is an opioid agonist-antagonist analgesic with low potential for dependency. Ciramadol appears to be an effective analgesic, with tolerable gastrointestinal central nervous system side effects at both the 30-and 90-mg dose levels. Ciramadol is a mixed agonist-antagonist for the μ-opioid receptor. Side effects might include nausea and vomiting.
Dibenzepin is a tricyclic antidepressant of the dibenzo-epine group. It is a selective noradrenaline uptake inhibitor, which exhibits in vitro and in vivo imipramine-like effects. It binds strongly to histamine H1 receptors in the brain and, to a lesser extent, to cholinergic receptors. The pharmacological profile of dibenzepin corresponds widely to its biochemical properties: histamine antagonism, tetrabenazine antagonism, potentiation of various noradrenergic effects and anticholinergic effects. Dibenzepin is only available in European countries for the treatment of depression.
Mecysteine is used as a mucolytic in respiratory disorders associated with productive cough. Mecysteine is known as a mucolytic agent, it breaks down mucus. It works by breaking some of the chemical bonds between the molecules in mucus. It is given orally in a usual dose of 200 mg three times daily before meals reduced to 200 mg twice daily after 6 weeks. A rapid clinical effect can be achieved by giving 200 mg four times daily for the first 2 days. Mecysteine has also been given by inhalation.

Methenolone (also known as primobolan) was described in 1960. Squibb Company began producing injectable drug in 1962. Methenolone originally was prescribed in case of muscle loss after operations, infections, long-term illnesses, aggressive therapy with corticoids or malnutrition, and in some cases it was used to treat osteoporosis and breast cancer. Methenolone was commonly used to promote weight gain in infants, weighing less than normal, without any side effects. Methenolone is an anabolic steroid, modification of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) with weak androgenic activity and a moderate anabolic effect. A notable trait of methenolone is that it can firmly bind to androgen receptors, stronger than testosterone. Adult doses for the treatment of aplastic anemia are usually in a range of 1–3 mg/kg per day. Adverse side effects include fluid and electrolyte retention, hypercalcaemia, increased bone growth and skeletal weight. In men, additional side priapism, azoospermia, hirsutism, male pattern baldness, acne andoedema. In women, side effects include virilization, amenorrhoea, menstrual irregularities, suppressed lactation, and increased libido. In children, side effects may include virilization symptoms. Metenolone may enhance effects of antidiabetics, ciclosporin, levothyroxine, warfarin. Resistance to the effects of neuromuscular blockers may occur, and metenolone also has the potential to interfere with glucose tolerance and thyroidfunction tests. Metenolone enanthate (methenolone enanthate) is an ester derivative of methenolone sold commonly under the brand names Primobolan (tablet form) orPrimobolan Depot (injectable). When it interacts with the aromatase enzyme it does not form any estrogens. It is used by people who are very susceptible to estrogenic side effects, having lowerestrogenic properties than nandrolone. This trait makes primobolan to be a good fat burner. Primobolan does not convert into estradiol. As an anabolic steroid, the use of metenolone is banned from use in sports governed by the World Anti-Doping Agency. Belarusian shot putter Nadzeya Ostapchuk was stripped of her gold medal after testing positive for metenolone at the London 2012 Olympic Games. She has been excluded from future IOC events. The NBA and NBPA also banned the use of methenolone under the Anti-Drug Program. In February 2013, Hedo Türkoğlu of the Orlando Magic was suspended for 20 games without pay by the league after testing positive for methenolone. In December 2013, Natalia Volgina was stripped of her 2013 Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon title and received a two-year competition ban, subsequent to a final guilty verdict for using the steroid Metenolone.

Cotinine is a product formed after the chemical nicotine enters the body. Measuring cotinine in people’s blood is the most reliable way to determine exposure to nicotine for both smokers and nonsmokers exposed to environmental tobacco smoke. Cotinine is safe, non-addictive and has pharmacokinetic properties adequate for therapeutic use. Research has shown that cotinine has antipsychotic, anxiolytic, and antidepressant properties and modulates the serotonergic, cholinergic and dopaminergic systems. Cotinine behaves as a positive allosteric modulator of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors and has anti-inflammatory effects. Cotinine is under investigation as an agent for the treatment of depression, PTSD, schizophrenia, Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease.
Carbiphene (etomide, SQ 10,269) is a nonnarcotic analgesic agent for the relief of pain. SQ 10,269 is considered to be a non-addicting analgesic agent indicated for the relief of all types of pain, including post-operative pain and pain associated with chronic and recurrent diseases.
