Dioctyldimonium is quaternary ammonium compound used as antimicrobial agents and surface disinfectant. When used as an active ingredient in different formulations such as hard surface disinfectants, sanitizers and/or certain types of water treatment formulations, these products have been found to provide superior biocidal action against a broad spectrum of microbial organisms such as bacteria, fungi, viruses, and algae.

Wogonin is an O-methylated flavone compound isolated from Scutellaria baicalensis. Wogonin is an a positive allosteric modulator of benzodiazepine site of the GABAA ion channel, and displays anxiolytic properties in animal models. It possesses anti-tumor effect in models of osteosarcoma and lung cancer. Hepatoprotective action of wogonin was demonstrated in the mouse model of alcoholic liver disease and in a model of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, where it was shown that wogonin upregulates PPAR-gamma and PPARalpha respectively. Wogonin possess chondroprotective action which was demonstrated in models of osteoarthritis.

10-Undecenal is used extensively in modern perfumery, particularly effective in floral and spicy blends. It is found in herbs and spices. 10-Undecenal is found in coriander leaf (Coriandrum sativum). It is perfumery and flavouring ingredient. Recommendation for 10-undecenal usage levels up to: 1 % in the fragrance concentrate. It is FEMA GRAS flavoring substance, generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by FDA.
