Conditions:

S(-)-imazapyr is an enantiomer of herbicide imazapyr. It is the less potent inhibitor of plant acetolactate synthase than R(+) enantiomer. The R(+) enantiomer has greater herbicidal activity and degrades faster than S(-) enantiomer.
