Sivelestat is a neutrophil elastase inhibitor approved in Japan and the Republic of Korea for acute lung injury, including acute respiratory distress syndrome in patients with systemic inflammatory response syndrome. Sivelestat is marketed as Elaspol in Japan. Sivelestat competitively inhibited human neutrophil elastase (IC50 = 0.044 uM, Ki = 0.2 uM). It also inhibited leukocyte elastase obtained from rabbit, rat, hamster and mouse.

Pirmenol is an antiarrhythmic agent, which exhibits effects on the fast action potential similar to other class 1 membrane active antiarrhythmic agents. Pirmenol depresses not only the fast Na+ channel, but also others, such as the slow Ca2+ and K+ channels. Pirmenol had sevenfold lower affinity for glandular-type muscarinic receptors (M3) than for cardiac-type muscarinic receptors (M2). This medicine regulates disturbed pulse by acting on the cardiac muscle. Usually, used for treatment of tachyarrhythmia (ventricular). The most commonly reported adverse reactions include constipation, discomfort in stomach, difficulty in urination (urinary retention), headache, insomnia, bitterness in the mouth, nausea, dry mouth and palpitation. Lidocaine, procainamide and quinidine a greater degree of arrhythmia conversion occurred when dosed 15 min after pirmenol than when these agents were dosed alone.

Flunarizine is a selective calcium entry blocker with calmodulin binding properties and histamine H1 / dopamine D2 blocking activity. It is not available in the US but marketed in other countries for prophylaxis of a migraine, occlusive peripheral vascular disease, the vertigo of central and peripheral origin, motion sickness and as an adjuvant in the therapy of epilepsy. The drug is also investigated for the treatment of schizophrenia.

Adinazolam, a benzodiazepine agonist, is an effective anxiolytic agent with antidepressant properties. It was shown, that adinazolam by itself had relatively weak benzodiazepine agonist activity, and much of the pharmacological activity belonged to its active metabolite N-desmethyladinazolam (NDMAD). Adinazolam has never been FDA approved, but it is sold as a research chemical.

TILIDINE is a low to medium potency opioid analgesic. It is metabolized to its active metabolites, nortilidine and bisnortilidine. Its analgesic activity is largely exerted through nortilidine which is a potent agonist at Mu opioid receptors.

Sulbenicillin (INN) is a penicillin antibiotic, product name: KEDACILLIN (SODIUM SULBENICILLIN) is effective against gram-negative bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa and anaerobic Bacteroides, and is also effective against gram-positive bacteria sensitive to Penicillin – G. It’s excreted into the urine and bile in high concentration. Therefore, urinary levels, well above those required to eradicate urinary pathogens, are achieved. It is indicated to treat urinary tract infections: pyelonephritis, pyelitis, pyonephrosis, cystitis and urethritis. Bile-duct infections: cholecystitis and cholangitis. Respiratory tract infections: acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, bronchopneumonia, pneumonia and pulmonary suppuration. Obstetrics and Gynecology: intrauterine infection, adnexitis, intrapelvic infection and Bartholinitis. Superfacial suppurative diseases: folliculitis, furuncle, carbuncle, abscess, panaris, phlegmon, tonsilitis, peritonsilitis, peritonsillar abscess, erysipelas, ophthalmia, blepharitis, corneal ulcer, dacryocystitis, stye, post-operative wound infection and traumatic and burn infections. Peritonitis. Septicemia and sub-acute bacterial endocarditis. Sulbenicillin caused elongation of the bacterial cells. At the early stage of elongation, no demonstrable changes of ultrastructure of the cell wall were observed. At the late stage, lysis of the peptidoglycan layer occurred and spheroplast was formed. However, most of the outer membrane of the cell wall remained intact. Sulbenicillin acts upon the peptidoglycan layer, but not on the outer membrane.

Bisoxatin (Laxonalin, Wylaxine) acetate is a stimulant laxative that has been used in the treatment of constipation. The drug showed good effects to habitual constipation and dolichocolon but was not sufficient acting in megacolon. It seems that the drug is effective to constipation due to functional disorders but the effect is not sufficient to constipation caused chiefly by organic colonic changes. No side effect was observed even in long term administration.

Celiprolol is beta blocker, used to treat high blood pressure. Celiprolol is a selective β1 receptor antagonist, β2 receptor partial agonist. Celiprolol is not approved by the FDA, but is available worldwide under brand names Cardem, Selectol, Celipres, Celipro, Celol, Cordiax, Dilanorm. It is used to treat mild to moderate hypertension and angina prectoris. In 2010 celiprolol has demonstrated positive results in the prevention of vascular complications of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Celiprolol has fewer CNS-related side effects than other beta blockers presumably because of limited penetration through blood-brain barrier because of its solubility.

Targets:
Thiamphenicol aminoacetate is an antibiotic. It is the methyl-sulfonyl analogue of chloramphenicol and has a similar spectrum of activity, but is 2.5 to 5 times as potent. It is used in many countries as a veterinary antibiotic, but is available in China, Morocco and Italy for use in humans. Thiamphenicol aminoacetate is reported as an ingredient of Urfamycin in Ecuador, Indonesia, Italy, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Japan. It is indicated for the treatment of GUT, hepatobiliary, respiratory tract, enteric tract infections, typhoid, paratyphoid fever and salmonellosis, brucellosis.
