Bufotalin is a cardiotoxic bufanolide steroid, cardiac glycoside analogue, secreted by a number of toad species; a novel anti-osteoblastoma agent. Bufotalin is a traditional Chinese medicine prepared from the dried secretion of the auricular and skin glands of Bufo bufo gargarizans Cantor.
