Quinuclidine is a bicyclic amine. It is used in organic synthesis. Quinuclidine is a highly potent catalyst for aldimine transaminations. Quinuclidine derivatives possess antihistamine properties and might be used for the treatment of various allergic diseases. They are demonstrated anti-inflammatory and other clinically important properties.
