Description

Mercuric salicylate is a white, odorless, tasteless powder containing about 59 percent of mercury. It was prescribed for external use, internally and by intramuscular injections. Mercuric salicylate was recommended as a syphilitic remedy. Drug produces signs of mercurialization in the patients.
