PRIMARY CUMYL-PICA (SGT-56) is an indole-3-carboxamide based synthetic cannabinoid. It is the .ALPHA.,.ALPHA.-dimethylbenzyl analogue of SDB-006. It was briefly sold in New Zealand during 2013 as an ingredient of at the time legal synthetic cannabis products, but the product containing CUMYL-BICA and CUMYL-PICA was denied an interim licensing approval under the Psychoactive Substances regulatory scheme, due to reports of adverse events in consumers. CUMYL-PICA acts as a potent agonist for the cannabinoid receptors, with approximately 20x selectivity for CB1, having an EC50 of 0.66nM for human CB1 receptors and 13nM for human CB2 receptors.

PRIMARY AM2201 (Item No. 10707) is a potent synthetic cannabinoid (CB) developed on an indole base with Ki values of 1.0 and 2.6 nM for the central CB1 and peripheral CB2 receptors, respectively.1 CUMYL-PICA is a derivative of AM2201 with a PINACA-like chain that lacks the alkyl-terminal fluorine atom and where the naphthoyl group has been modified with the addition of a benzyl group. The physiological and toxicological properties of this compound have not been determined.
