(R)-nisoxetine, an enantiomer of nisoxetine, is the potent and selective norepinephrine transporter (NET) inhibitor. Racemic nisoxetine doesn’t have any clinical application but had been researched as an antidepressant and its activity for NET resides mainly in the R-isomer.
