Salazodine (also known as SALAZOPYRIDAZINE) was studied as an antibacterial agent. It was shown that it could be active against ulcerative colitis. Experiments on animals have revealed that salazodine increased the frequency of rhythmic contractions, increased appetite and clinic recovery in animals with gastrointestinal diseases. In addition, the drug was studied as an antirheumatic agent. Information about the current use of this drug is not available.
